Interesting facts about our air purifiers for the office
Why is it advisable to use an air purifier in the office?
The human body needs air to survive – around the clock. With every breath, an adult takes in around 0.5 liters and thus consumes more than 10,000 liters of air every day. Unfortunately, the issue of air quality often falls by the wayside – even though we spend most of the day indoors. Anyone who works in an office therefore knows how important a good indoor climate is. Poor indoor air and the associated unpleasant odors can impair the concentration, productivity and motivation of office workers. In short: work performance decreases.
Let’s assume that your office is regularly ventilated and that employees are not exposed to draughts at the workplace. This should actually ensure an exchange of air that allows employees to breathe through the reduction of CO2. However, ventilation only slightly reduces the concentration of pollutants in the office. Pollutants exist, for example, due to the emission of carpets, varnishes and paints, which release volatile organic compounds and spread throughout the office. Small particles such as dust, cigarette smoke or laser printers also cause unclean air in the office. But pollutants also enter the rooms from outside – for example fine dust from busy roads or pollen from flowering plants. This is even facilitated by open windows. Allergy sufferers are particularly affected by this, as they react sensitively to this pollution. Fresh air is not always clean air.
In times of the coronavirus pandemic, however, a completely different topic has become important: Aerosols that are in the air and can transmit diseases – such as COVID-19. So when many people come together in the office, the likelihood of viruses and bacteria settling in the rooms increases and the risk of infection increases.
But this can finally come to an end, because an air purifier in the office can easily improve the indoor climate. Active technology such as ionization breaks down bad components in the air so that it is purified and freed from pollutants, viruses and bacteria.
This minimizes downtime and improves the working environment. Sometimes it can be that simple.
Which of our devices are best suited for air purification in the office?
At bioclimatic, we have been ensuring germ-free and clean indoor air since 1978. Our range of professional air purifiers has expanded steadily over the years and is tailored to a wide variety of needs and requirements. Our air purifiers for offices work primarily according to the natural principle of bipolar ionization: the air contains a normal oxygen content of approx. 21% and a low level of pollutants. Our air purifiers therefore produce activated oxygen by positively and negatively charging neutral O2 molecules. Oxygen clusters are formed which are able to neutralize particles from the air. This process takes place 100% without chemicals or artificial fragrances. Which air purifier is best for your office – find out with our help.
AirCleanerQ
The AirCleanerQ ensures bipolar ionization in the air and thus neutralizes pathogens, germs, odours and pollutants in your office. Covid viruses can also be inactivated with this device so that the air in the room remains fresh and virus-free.
This slimline model, which you attach to the ceiling, blends unobtrusively into your office space. The AirCleanerQ can be used in rooms up to 160 cubic meters in size and can be easily integrated into existing grid ceilings.
AirCleanerHome
The AirCleanerHome device impresses with its compact form and creates hygienic room air by eliminating microorganisms such as germs, viruses and bacteria. Corona viruses are of course also included. You can connect the air purifier to an existing ventilation system in your office and benefit from the disinfection of your rooms.
AeroMat
The AeroMat is a powerful air ionization unit that supplies up to 300 cubic metres of fresh air and removes odours, pollutants and germs. This device is therefore particularly suitable for larger rooms.
The special feature of this air purifier for the office is that you can manually adjust the power of the integrated fan and the intensity of the ionization.
AeroTron
Another air purifier for the office is the AeroTron device, which is only suitable for installation in ventilation systems and air conditioning systems. This allows you to supplement existing systems with an air purifier and bring fresh, clean air back into your office space.
How do our air purifiers ensure good indoor air hygiene in your office?
There are various ways to remove impure viruses, bacteria or other components from indoor air and make it more pleasant and, above all, cleaner. The room air purifiers from bioclimatic work primarily according to a process that occurs in nature: bipolar air ionization. In this process, neutral oxygen molecules are given a positive and negative charge. This is achieved by a dielectric barrier discharge, which is driven by special ionization tubes. This creates oxygen clusters which, thanks to their high energy potential, are able to remove pollutants such as fine dust, odors and aerosols from the air. This technology is particularly effective in offices and commercial premises. Our AeroMat, AeroTec and AeroTron units, for example, work on the principle of air ionization.
